Shital Morjaria
Shital Morjaria is an Indian journalist and film-maker. Her debut full-length film '' All I Want Is Everything'' was released in 2013. Before that she made a few documentary films. She is also the executive producer of TV9. In 2008, she received The Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism award for her show ''Naveena''. Career Morjaria started her career as a news presenter of a television show named ''News Wave''. For the next 15 years she worked in other fields of print and visual media. Morjaria was awarded the Ramnath Goenka Award, the highest award in India for journalism, for her program ''Naveena''. The show focused on issues faced by Indian women. In 2013, she made her directorial debut in big screen with the film '' All I Want Is Everything''. All I Want Is Everything (film)
''All I Want Is Everything'' is a 2013 Indian English-language film directed by Shital Morjaria, and produced by Jhansi Laxmi & Rekha Pappu. The film's story revolves around the friendship of three urban South Indian girls. This was Morjaria's first film as a director. Sagari Venkata, who played one of the protagonists in the film, also made her acting debut with this film. Morjaria arranged several workshops and rehearsals before beginning to shoot the original film as she wanted to develop an authentic "chemistry" between the members. In this low-budget film, some of the members contributed their own money to complete its work. The film was released on 8 March 2013 on International Women's Day and received mixed audience as well as critic reactions. Reviews of the film indicate the lack of resources negatively impacted the audience experience of the story. TV9 (Telugu)
TV9 Telugu (formerly TV9) is an Indian Telugu-language 24-hour news channel focusing on the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It formally launched on 1 February 2004 with a 15-day trial run before the formal launch. It is headquartered in Hyderabad. Along with its rival ETV2 (now ETV Andhra Pradesh), it is the oldest 24-hour news channel in Telugu. The founding CEO was Ravi Prakash who served in the role till May 2019. The channel was founded with seed capital from serial entrepreneur Srini Raju's iLabs Ventures. Srini Raju exited the company in August 2018 by selling his 80% stake to a group of investors including promoters of My Home Group and Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Limited (MEIL). The Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards (RNG Awards) are one of the awards in India in the field of journalism. Named after Ramnath Goenka, the awards have been held annually since 2006, with the 12th edition being held in 2017. The awards are given for both print journalism as well as broadcast journalism, with a total of 25 different prizes being awarded in 2017 for excellence in journalism during 2016.
