Shishpal Singh (born 1979) is an Indian politician from Haryana. He is an MLA from Kalanwali Assembly constituency which is reserved for Scheduled Caste community in Sirsa district. He won the 2019 Haryana Legislative Assembly election representing the Indian National Congress. Early life and education Shishpal is from Kalanwali, Sirsa district, Haryana. He is the son of Om Prakash. He completed M.A. at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Career Shishpal won from Kalanwali Assembly constituency representing the Indian National Congress in the 2019 Haryana Legislative Assembly election. Sirsa district is the largest district by area in Haryana state, India. Sirsa is the district headquarters. It is located on National Highway 9 and from the capital Delhi. On 1 September 1975, Sirsa became a district by taking Sirsa and Dabwali tahsils from Hisar District. There are a total of 342 villages in Sirsa district. Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (KUK) is a university established on 11January 1956 in Kurukshetra, in the Indian state of Haryana, from the capital, Delhi.
