SKE48 (S.K.E. Forty-eight) is a Japanese idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto. SKE48 is named after the Sakae, Nagoya, Sakae district in Nagoya of Aichi Prefecture, where the group is based. Shiori Ino
was a 21-year-old Japanese student who was murdered in Okegawa, Saitama Prefecture, on 26 October 1999. Ino was stabbed to death by Yoshifumi Kubota, a hitman hired by her abusive ex-boyfriend, Kazuhito Komatsu, and his brother Takeshi Komatsu, after months of stalking and violent threats against Ino and her family after she ended the relationship. Ino's murder exposed a significant dereliction of duties by the Saitama Prefecture police force, brought about changes to the legal treatment of stalking in Japan, and is considered an example of media manipulation. Four men were charged and tried for the murder of Ino. Kazuhito committed suicide after learning that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. All four alive perpetrators were found guilty.
