Shinzō Wo Sasageyo!
is the eleventh track created by the Japanese band Linked Horizon for their second album '. Originally released in a shortened version on 2 April 2017 to be used as the third opening for the anime ''Attack on Titan'', the full version would be released as part of the album about one month later on 17 May 2017. The song was composed by the band's head musician Revo, who constructed the song after re-reading the anime's manga multiple times, drawing phrases directly from it in some instances, including the song's title. While the song would not be as successful as their first anime opening " Guren no Yumiya", it would still be played at a number of concerts, and would be nominated for two awards in 2017. The song would also receive Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan in October 2018, and become Linked Horizon's first song to reach 100 million streams on the audio streaming service Spotify in December 2021. Sound Horizon is a Japanese symphonic rock musical group with composer () as the leader and only permanent member. A battle cry or war cry is a yell or chant taken up in battle, usually by members of the same combatant group. ''Epica vs Attack on Titan Songs'' is the second EP by Dutch symphonic metal band Epica, featuring covers of songs based on the anime ''Attack on Titan''. The EP arranges selected songs originally written and composed by Revo of the Japanese band Linked Horizon with Epica's flair for heavy and massive-sounding songs with a classical motif. It was released on December 20, 2017, originally in Japan, and was released worldwide on July 20, 2018. Background In April 2017, Epica held a concert in Tokyo, Japan. After the concert, Revo, the leader of Linked Horizon who is also an Epica fan, went to their dressing room and asked them to make English-language covers for his songs.
