Shinshoku Dolce
is the debut album by singer and cellist Kanon Wakeshima. The album was preceded by two singles: "Still Doll" and "Suna no Oshiro". Both of those singles were used in the anime ''Vampire Knight''. The success of those singles led to Kanon being nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the fourth annual Shōjo Beat Music Awards. The album was released on February 11, 2009 in Germany, France, and Europe, and on February 18, 2009 in Japan in both Limited and Regular editions. is a Japanese musician and singer. Originally produced by musician and fashion designer Mana, Wakeshima debuted under the DefStar Records label on May 28, 2008 with the single "Still Doll", the ending theme for the anime adaptation of the manga series ''Vampire Knight''. She also provided the voice for a maid that appears in the eighth episode of the series. Wakeshima's second single "Suna no Oshiro", released on November 12, 2008, was used as the ending theme for the series' second season (subtitled ''Guilty''). Mana (Japanese Musician)
is a Japanese musician, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer, best known as guitarist of the visual kei rock band Malice Mizer from their formation in 1992 until their indefinite hiatus in 2001. A year later, Mana formed the gothic metal band Moi dix Mois as his solo project. Mana founded the independent record label Midi:Nette in 1994. In addition to signing electronic music duo Schwarz Stein, it has released the majority of Malice Mizer's musical output and all of Moi dix Mois' material. is a Japanese manga series written by Matsuri Hino. It was serialized in Hakusensha's ''shōjo'' manga magazine '' LaLa'' from 2004 to 2013, with its chapters collected in nineteen ''tankōbon'' volumes. The manga series is licensed in English by Viz Media, who has released all nineteen volumes.
