Shin Ōnuma
is a Japanese anime director, animator, and storyboard artist best known for his contributions to studios Shaft and Silver Link. Early life As a child, Oonuma did not care much for anime and found more interest in video games. He watched some parts of ''Mobile Suit Gundam'' while in elementary school without understanding it, and vividly remembered parts of a '' Gamba no Bouken'' rerun because of a weasel character he was terrified by, but otherwise was obsessed Famicon that was released around that time. It wasn't until late in high school that Oonuma watched various anime. Since he loved games, he was vaguely interested in going into the entertainment industry, so he watched anime as a part of that idea. This led to Oonuma's discovery of the 1992 OVA ''Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki'', which resonated with him through its characters, comedy style, and in particular the nature of its protagonist who is teased at the beginning of the story but essentially becomes a hero by its end. , also known by the title of its anime adaptation, , is a Japanese manga series by Hekiru Hikawa that uses parody, frequently referencing Japanese and American pop-culture in many ways. It mainly follows child prodigy Rebecca Miyamoto, an MIT graduate newly hired as a homeroom teacher at Peach Moon Academy, where she deals with the antics of the Class 1-C students during everyday school life. Naoyuki Tatsuwa
is a Japanese animator. He started off as an animator with Studio Lions and its parent company Studio Giants, and then spent 11 years as an animator and director at studio Shaft. Since 2015, he has been freelance. Career Originating from Hokkaido, Tatsuwa joined the sub-contracting animation firm Studio Lions in 2000 (one part of the animation department for Studio Giants), where he mostly worked as a sub-contractor to Xebec. After working at Studio Lions, he worked as a part-time worker at construction sites and built sets for television commercials. At one point, he broke his leg while building one of the sets and couldn't walk for some time. He decided to go back to animation and was interested in joining Shaft because he wanted to work on the studio's adaptation of ''Pani Poni Dash!''. C³ is about a high school student named Haruaki Yachi, who receives a mysterious black cube from his father who is overseas. That night, Haruaki is woken by a noise and is surprised to find a girl named Fear Kubrick in his kitchen eating rice crackers. Haruaki confirms that she is the cube, but knows nothing about her past other than that she has a curse on her which she wants broken. Breaking the curse though proves hard as there are organizations that seek to capture or destroy Fear, along with her dark past as a "Cursed Tool" which comes to light. Haruaki vows to protect her though, and is joined along by other allies/friends as the series progresses.
