is a passenger railway station located in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu. Lines The station is served by the Chikuhi Line and is located 1.6 km from the starting point of the line at . Local and weekday rapid services on the Chikuhi Line stop at this station. Station layout The station consists of two side platforms serving two tracks. The station building is a modern concrete structure and houses a small waiting area with a staffed ticket window. Access to the opposite side platform is by means of a raised footbridge, with a pair of elevators as alternative ways up and down the bridge. Nishi-ku, Fukuoka
is one of the seven Wards of Japan, wards of Fukuoka City, Japan. Meaning literally "west ward," it is bordered to the east by Sawara-ku, Fukuoka, Sawara-ku, and to the west by Itoshima, Fukuoka, Itoshima. As of 2003, it has a population of 173,813 people and an area of 83.81 km2. As of 2016, its population had increased to 206,000 people. Genkō Bōrui
The was a defensive stone wall, long, constructed along Hakata Bay in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan in preparation for an attack by Mongol forces of the Yuan dynasty after the first attack of 1274. The second attack of 1281 was thwarted by a typhoon, or kamikaze, and the Mongols were forced to withdraw.
