Sherwin is a founding Management Team member of the artist social networking site myartspace, where he also served as Senior Editor for six years. Derrick Sherwin
Derrick George Sherwin (16 April 1936 – 17 October 2018) was an English television producer, writer, story editor and actor. After beginning his career in the theatre, Sherwin became an actor in television before moving into writing. He became the story editor on '' Doctor Who'' and, as the producer of the series in 1969, he oversaw the transition from black-and-white to colour by producing Patrick Troughton's final story and Jon Pertwee's first. He also co-produced '' Paul Temple'' for the BBC. Early life Sherwin began his career in the theatre and worked as a junior set designer, scenic artist, scene shifter, stage manager and lighting designer. Robert Hoole Sherwin, Jr. (born May 13, 1951) is an American businessman and winner of the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, he was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of Zenger Folkman. Early life Sherwin was born in 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Robert Sherwin Sr. and Jeanne Sherwin (née Davis). He is the third of five children, and the only boy. Sherwin moved with his family to Southern California, where he attended middle school and high school. He attended Katella High School in Anaheim, California, where he excelled academically and in both basketball and baseball. Brent Sherwin (born 20 March 1978) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. Sherwin plays in the Illawarra Carlton League which is an indirect feeder league to the St George Illawarra Dragons. He plays as a half-back. Susan Sherwin (born 6 June 1947) is a Canadian philosopher. Her pioneering work has shaped feminist theory, ethics and bioethics, and she is considered one of the world's foremost feminist ethicists. Education Sherwin received a B.A. (Hons.) in mathematics and philosophy from York University (1969) and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Stanford University (1974). Her dissertation, “Moral Foundations of Feminism”, was written under the supervision of Thomas Schwartz, and was the first dissertation in the United States on feminist ethics. Sherwin (25 October 1550 – 1 December 1581) was an English Roman Catholic priest, executed in 1581. He is a Catholic martyr and saint. Early years and education Sherwin was born at Rodsley, Derbyshire to John and Constance Sherwin and christened in Longford church. He was educated at Eton college. In 1568, he was nominated by Sir William Petre to one of the eight fellowships which he had founded at Exeter College, Oxford, probably influenced by Sherwin's uncle, John Woodward, who from 1556 to 1566 had been rector of Ingatestone, Essex, where Petre lived. A talented classical scholar, Sherwin obtained his Bachelor of Arts in 1571 and Master of Arts on 2 July 1574, and the following year converted to Roman Catholicism. Mordecai Sherwin (26 February 1851 – 3 July 1910) was a professional footballer and cricketer who played in goal for Notts County and as a wicket-keeper for Nottinghamshire between 1878 and 1896. Henry Sherwin
Henry Alden Sherwin (September 27, 1842 – June 16, 1916) was one of the founders of the Sherwin-Williams Company in 1866. The company was named for both him and Edward Porter Williams. Biography Sherwin was born on September 27, 1842, in Baltimore, Vermont, and stayed in school until he was 15 years of age. His first job was in a local general store. In 1860, an uncle invited Henry to Cleveland, Ohio. He soon found employment with Freeman & Kellogg Co., a Cleveland dry goods store. Frank Sherwin (politician)
Frank Sherwin (6 October 1905 – 7 November 1981) was an Irish Independent politician who sat for eight years as Teachta Dála (TD) for Dublin North-Central, from 1957 to 1965. Early life Sherwin was born in Upper Dorset Street in inner-city Dublin in 1905, son of Christopher Sherwin, a labourer from Dublin, and his wife Mary Jane (née Ford). At the age of ten he witnessed intense fighting on North King Street near his home during the Easter Rising of 1916. He left school at 13, and became an apprentice harness-maker. As a teenager, Sherwin joined the Fianna Éireann (youth wing of the Irish Republican Army) and participated in the Irish War of Independence. He took part in the Irish Civil War on the anti-treaty side. He was captured after an attack on Wellington Barracks in November 1922, and badly beaten in custody. Belle Sherwin (March 20, 1869 – July 5, 1955) was an American Women's rights activist. Early life and education Belle Sherwin was born March 20, 1869, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the daughter of Henry Sherwin, Henry Alden Sherwin, founder of the Sherwin-Williams Company and Frances Mary Smith. Sherwin was never married. Belle graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College in 1890 with a Bachelor's degree.
