Sher Shah Bridge
Sher Shah Bridge is an overpass in Karachi, Pakistan. In September 2007, the bridge collapsed, leaving five men crushed as a result. Sher Shah (Karachi)
SherShah is a neighbourhood in Karachi, Pakistan, that is located along the northern bank of the Lyari River. Sher Shah is home to the Morroro Graveyard - a vast cemetery that is centuries old. It is also the site of some of Karachi's recycling industry. In October 2010, Baloch terrorists gunned down 13 members of the Urdu-speaking community in a spare-parts market. Kiamari Town
Keamari Town ( ur, ) lies in the southern part of the city that was named after the historic seaside municipality of Keamari. Kemari Town was formed in 2001 as part of The Local Government Ordinance 2001, and was subdivided into 11 union councils. The town system was disbanded in 2011, and Kemari Town was re-organized as part of Karachi West District in 2015. In 2020, Keamari District was carved out from Karachi West District. So Kemari Town ended up being part of Kemari District. Location Kemari Town comprised the western parts of Karachi, including the Port of Karachi and an extensive coastline of sandy beaches, small islands and Mangrove forests. Sher Shah Suri
Sher Shah Suri ( ps, شیرشاه سوری) (1472, or 1486 – 22 May 1545), born Farīd Khān ( ps, فرید خان) , was the founder of the Sur Empire in India, with its capital in Sasaram in modern-day Bihar. He standardized the silver coin to the weight of 178 grams and named the currency as rupee based on the ancient Sanskrit term for silver. An ethnic Pashtun ruler, Sher Shah took control of the Mughal Empire in 1540 CE. After his accidental death in 1545 CE, his son Islam Shah became his successor. He first served as a private before rising to become a commander in the Mughal army under Babur and then the governor of Bihar. In 1537, when Babur's son Humayun was elsewhere on an expedition, Sher Shah overran the state of Bengal and established the Suri dynasty. A brilliant strategist, Sher Shah proved himself as a gifted administrator as well as a capable general. The National Highway Authority (NHA; ur, ) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Communications (MoCom) of Pakistan. History In 1978, the Government of Pakistan federalised five important inter-provincial roads and named them ''National Highways''.
