Sheldon-Williams Collegiate
Sheldon-Williams Collegiate (SWC) is a high school for grades 9 through 12, located in the Lakeview neighbourhood of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. A part of Regina Public Schools, Sheldon offers a variety of programs and extracurricular activities, including the VISA program, which integrates foreign and Canadian students. It is also well known for its fine arts program. Its namesake, Catherine Sheldon-Williams, was an English immigrant and long-time school board member. The school currently serves approximately 850 students. The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a professional Canadian football team based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Roughriders compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West Division. The Roughriders were founded in 1910 as the Regina Rugby Club. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Jonathan Robert Ryan (born November 26, 1981) is a Canadian former professional football player who was a punter in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and National Football League (NFL). He played university football for the Regina Rams, and began his professional career in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers after being selected in the 2004 CFL Draft. Jason Forrest Plumb is a Canadian singer-songwriter, record producer, and mixer who resides in Regina, Saskatchewan and was the lead singer and front man of the Waltons. He currently performs as a solo singer-songwriter with a backing band, The Willing. Regina Rams
The Regina Rams represent the University of Regina, located in Regina, Saskatchewan, in the sport of Canadian football in U Sports. The Rams joined U Sports in 1999 and have competed in the Canada West Conference since then. The program has won two U Sports football conference championships, in 2000 and 2024, and the team has made one appearance in the Vanier Cup championship game. The Rams nickname is used by the university's football team only; all of the other teams at the school are named the Regina Cougars. Marc Mueller (born April 15, 1989) is the offensive coordinator for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a two-time Grey Cup champion as an assistant coach with the Calgary Stampeders. In university, he played quarterback for the Regina Rams of the CIS from 2007 to 2012. Sarah Kramer
Sarah Kramer (June 27, 1968 – May 3, 2025) was a Canadian vegan cookbook author. They were the author of ''How It All Vegan'', ''The Garden of Vegan'', ''La Dolce Vegan!'' and ''Vegan A Go-Go!''. In 2012, she released an app, ''Go Vegan! w/Sarah Kramer.'' Kramer had a vegan store called Sarah's Place that opened in 2011 and closed 2 years later after a diagnosis of breast cancer. Kramer completed treatment in 2013 and afterward worked at Tattoo Zoo, which they co-owned with their spouse in Victoria, British Columbia.
