Sheikh Rabiul Islam is an Indian politician from West Bengal. He is a West Bengal Legislative Assembly, member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly since 2024, representing Haroa Assembly constituency as a Member of the All India Trinamool Congress. He is the son of the late Haji Nurul Islam a former Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency, Basirhat. West Bengal Legislative Assembly
The West Bengal Legislative Assembly (ISO 15919, ISO: ''Paścimabaṅga Vidhānasabhā'') is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of West Bengal, located in eastern India. It consists of 294 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies through the first-past-the-post voting, FPTP voting system. The Assembly meets at Vidhan Sabha Bhavan in Kolkata, the capital of the state. Haji Nurul Islam
Haji Sk. Nurul Islam (Bengali Language, Bengali: হাজী সেখ নুরুল ইসলাম; 11 November 1963 – 25 September 2024) was an Indian politician and an Member of Parliament, MLA from Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. He was a small-time zari businessman and resident of Chhoto Jagulia village in Barasat. Background Islam was born in Bahera, West Bengal, India. He joined the Trinamool Congress in January 1998 and served as a member of Bahera Gram Panchayat Samiti since 2003 to 2008.
