Sheikh Muhammad Akram () is a Pakistani politician who was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from June 2013 to May 2018. He is currently member of Punjab Assembly from the seat PP-127 Jhang-III since 24 February 2024. Political career He was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) from Constituency NA-89 (Jhang-I) in the 2013 Pakistani general election. He received 75,053 votes and defeated Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi. In 2014, he was disqualified and unseated by an election tribunal. However, in 2016, the Supreme Court of Pakistan declared Akram as returned candidate. Sheikh Waqas Akram (; born 26 August 1976) is a Pakistani politician and a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from NA-109 Jhang-II since 29 February 2024. He previously served as a member of the National Assembly from November 2002 to November 2007 and from March 2008 to March 2013. He joined the PTI in early 2023 and was appointed as the Information Secretary of the party, which he is serving as today. Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi () is the current Sarparast-e-Aala of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama'at (ASWJ), a proscribed group in Pakistan. Ludhianvi became the head of ASWJ (then knows as Sipah-e Sahaba) upon the death of the previous chief, Ali Sher Haidri, in a 2009 ambush. Ludhianvi is also the Secretary General of Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC). Ludhianvi is on the Pakistani legislature's list of persons with suspected ties to terrorism.
