Sheikh
Sheikh (pronounced or ; ar, شيخ ' , mostly pronounced , plural ' )—also transliterated sheekh, sheyikh, shaykh, shayk, shekh, shaik and Shaikh, shak—is an honorific title in the Arabic language. It commonly designates a chief of a tribe or a royal family member in Arabian countries, in some countries it is also given to those of great knowledge in religious affairs as a surname by a prestige religious leader from a chain of Sufi scholars. It is also commonly used to refer to a Muslim religious scholar. It is also used as an honorary title by people claiming to be descended from Hasan ibn Ali and Husayn ibn Ali both patrilineal and matrilineal who are grandsons of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Jawed Sheikh (also spelled Javaid and Javed; born 8 October 1954) is a Pakistani actor, film director and producer who works in Lollywood and Bollywood. He is best known for working in the Hindi films '' Om Shanti Om'', '' My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves '', '' Namastey London'', etc. Career Born in Rawalpindi, Jawed Sheikh made his acting debut in the Lollywood film ''Dhamaka'', written by Pakistani writer Ibn-e-Safi released on 14 December 1974. The music video was directed by Rupan Bal, and was shot in Dubai and Punjab, India. The song was released on 19 April 2020, along with its music video by Rehaan Records. The official poster of the song was released by Aujla on 20 March 2020. Background "Sheikh"'s audio was leaked in early February 2020. Aujla started filming its music video in March 2020. He released the song's cover on 20 March 2020 on his Instagram handle. On 17 March 2020, the song's music video was leaked on YouTube. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah (5 December 1905 – 8 September 1982) was an Indian politician who played a central role in the politics of Jammu and Kashmir Abdullah was the founding leader of the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (later renamed Jammu and Kashmir National Conference) and the 1st elected Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir after its accession to India. He agitated against the rule of the Maharaja Hari Singh and urged self-rule for Kashmir. Shahnaz Sheikh (born 21 March 1949) is a retired Pakistani field hockey player. He was born at Sialkot, Pakistan. He is related to Olympians Zahid Sheikh and Tariq Sheikh. In 2014, he was the head coach of Pakistan National Hockey Team. A forward, Shahnaz Sheikh played between 1969 and 1978.
