''Shawn Camp'' is the debut studio album by American country music singer Shawn Camp. It was released in 1993 via Reprise Records. Content The album produced three singles: "Confessin' My Love", "Fallin' Never Felt So Good", and "Man, What a Woman". Mark Wright produced the album. Dude Mowrey originally recorded "Fallin' Never Felt So Good" on his 1991 debut album ''Honky Tonk''. Mark Chesnutt recorded both "Confessin' My Love" and "Fallin' Never Felt So Good" on his 2000 album '' Lost in the Feeling'' (also produced by Wright), in addition to releasing his version of the former as a single that year. Rhett Akins covered "K-I-S-S-I-N-G" on his 1996 album '' Somebody New''. Darrell DeShawn Camp (born August 29, 1966) is an American musician who performs country and Americana music. Originally signed to Reprise Records in 1993 as a recording artist, Camp charted two minor singles on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts that year. Since then he has found success as a songwriter, having co-written hit singles for many country music artists, including Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Josh Turner, Brooks & Dunn, and Blake Shelton, although he continues to record his own material as well. The 2023 Grammy Awards presented the legendary Willie Nelson's "A Beautiful Time" with "Country Album of The Year". Dobro
Dobro () is an American brand of resonator guitars owned by Gibson and manufactured by its subsidiary Epiphone. The term "dobro" is also used as a generic term for any wood-bodied, single-cone resonator guitar. The Dobro was originally a guitar manufacturing company founded by the Dopyera brothers as the Dobro Manufacturing Company. Their guitar design, with a single outward-facing resonator cone, was introduced to compete with the patented inward-facing tricone and biscuit designs produced by the National String Instrument Corporation. The Nashville Bluegrass Band is an American bluegrass music ensemble founded in 1984. A steel guitar () is any guitar played while moving a steel bar or similar hard object against plucked strings. The bar itself is called a "steel" and is the source of the name "steel guitar". The instrument differs from a conventional guitar in that it is played without using frets; conceptually, it is somewhat akin to playing a guitar with one finger (the bar). Known for its portamento capabilities, gliding smoothly over every pitch between notes, the instrument can produce a sinuous crying sound and deep vibrato emulating the human singing voice. Typically, the strings are plucked (not strummed) by the fingers of the dominant hand, while the steel tone bar is pressed lightly against the strings and moved by the opposite hand. Paul Franklin (musician)
Paul V. Franklin (born May 31, 1954) is an American multi-instrumentalist, known mainly for his work as a steel guitarist. He began his career in the 1970s as a member of Barbara Mandrell's road band; in addition he toured with Vince Gill, Mel Tillis, Jerry Reed and Dire Straits. Paul is currently touring with Chris Stapleton. He has since become a prolific session musician in Nashville, playing on more than 500 albums. Fletcher Bangs "Biff" Watson (born 1952) is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer. His musicianship has been a part of recording sessions for many artists. Patrick Flynn is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter, best known for his association with New Grass Revival from 198189. Dan Dugmore is an American session musician known primarily for playing the pedal steel guitar Born in 1949, Dugmore was raised in Pasadena, California. Influenced by the Flying Burrito Brothers, he learned to play steel guitar after Flying Burrito Brothers member Sneaky Pete Kleinow sold him one. Dugmore then joined John Stewart's road band, and then Linda Ronstadt's; he also played for several James Taylor albums.
