Shawn Andrews (American Football)
Shawn Cornelius Andrews (born December 25, 1982) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks, and was a two-time consensus All-American. Philadelphia selected him in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft, and he earned two Pro Bowl selections during his career. He was inducted to the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. Early life Shawn Andrews was born on Christmas Day in 1982 to his mother Linda Andrews. He was raised, along with his two brothers Stacy and Derrick, in the city of Camden, Arkansas. He attended Camden Fairview High School, where he was successful as an offensive lineman for the football team. Stacy Andrews
Stacy Dewayne Andrews (born June 2, 1981) is an American former professional football offensive tackle. He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL draft. He played college football at Ole Miss. Andrews also played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants. He is the older brother of offensive lineman Shawn Andrews. 2004 NFL Draft
The 2004 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held from April 24–25, 2004, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year. Fumble
A fumble in gridiron football occurs when a player who has possession and control of the ball loses it before being downed (tackled), scoring, or going out of bounds. By rule, it is any act other than passing, kicking, punting, or successful handing that results in loss of ball possession by a player. 2001 All-SEC Football Team
The 2001 All-SEC football team consists of American football players selected to the All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) chosen by various selectors for the 2001 NCAA Division I-A football season.
