Shaun Stonerook
Shaun Andrew Stonerook (born August 19, 1977) is a retired Italian-American professional basketball player. At a height of 2.01 m (6'7") tall, he played mainly at the power forward position, but he could also play as a small forward, if needed. High school Stonerook played high school basketball at Westerville North High School, in Westerville, Ohio. College career Stonerook played college basketball at Ohio State University, with the Ohio State Buckeyes, from 1995 to 1997. He then played college basketball at Ohio University with the Ohio Bobcats, from 1997 to 2000. With the Ohio Bobcats, he was named to the 1998–99 All-MAC Second Team, and to the 1999–00 All-MAC First Team. Professional career Stonerook began his pro career in Belgium, during the 2000–01 season, with the Belgian League club Racing Basket Antwerpen. Mens Sana 1871 Basket is an Italian professional basketball club based in Siena. It is a section of the sports club Polisportiva Mens Sana, founded in 1871. Under the name Montepaschi Siena, derived from sponsor Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, the club was a dominant presence in the Italian Serie A, winning five titles in a row from 2006–07 to 2010–11, besides two more titles later revoked by the Italian Federation, whilst also challenging for titles in Europe. Basketball League Belgium Division I
The Pro Basketball League (PBL), was the highest tier level professional basketball league in Belgium for clubs. In 2021, the league was succeeded by the Belgian-Dutch BNXT League. The 1999–2000 Mid-American Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 1999, followed by the start of the 1999–2000 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play began in January 2000 and concluded in March 2000. Central Michigan won the regular season title with a conference record of 14–4 by one game over second-place Kent State. Ball State defeated Miami in the MAC tournament final and represented the MAC in the NCAA tournament. There they lost to UCLA. Kent State and Bowling Green both played in the NIT.
