Shaun Ontong
Shaun Ontong (born 25 March 1987 in Canberra, Australia) is a retired Australian footballer and coach who is current assistant coach of Yokohama F. Marinos. His father, Paul Ontong, was born in South Africa and played in the NSL for Canberra City, Mooroolbark SC and Brisbane Lions. Club career Ontong grew up in Canberra, playing junior football for local clubs Belwest Foxes and later Belconnen United. In 2006, he was awarded a place in the AIS football program. In late 2006, he trialled with German club 1. FC Nürnberg, but suffered a groin injury during the trial and returned to Australia. He spent time briefly with Melbourne Victory before heading back to Europe, trialling with FC Sion and later in Slovenia with NK Maribor and Bela Krajina, but his recurrent injury forced another return home. Mooroolbark Soccer Club
Mooroolbark Soccer Club is an Australian soccer club based in Mooroolbark, an outer eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. The club currently plays in Victorian State League Division 2. History Founded by two Dutch men, they formed a Dutch team with the name Mooroolbark United Soccer Club in 1962. Mooroolbark's backing changed to a British influenced club in its formative years. In 1978, the United tagline was dropped completely from the name. 1964–1969: The Early Years The club's first full season in the Victorian Metropolitan League 4th Division saw it finish 9th. Kaz Patafta
Kaz Phonesak Patafta (born 25 October 1988) is a former Australian professional footballer. Patafta previously played as a midfielder for Benfica, Melbourne Victory, Newcastle Jets and Khon Kaen United F.C. He captained the Australia under-17 national team at the 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Peru and also the Australia under-20 national team at the 2006 AFC Youth Championship. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. The 2006 AFC Youth Championship was the 34th instance of the AFC Youth Championship. It was held from 29 October to 12 November 2006 in India. It was the first time for India to host this tournament. Sixteen teams from the AFC qualified to the finals. The tournament was won by North Korea, their second championship after sharing the trophy with Iran in 1976, defeating Japan 5–3 in a penalty shootout after extra time finished in a 1–1 draw. South Korea defeated Jordan 2–0 to finish third. The tournament also served as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, with a place for the 4 semi-finalists of the tournament.
