Shaun Cummings
Shaun Michael Cummings (born 25 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back. Born in England, Cummings won three caps for Jamaica at international level. A graduate of the Academy at Chelsea, he spent time on loan at Milton Keynes Dons and West Bromwich Albion, before being sold on to Reading in September 2009. He spent six years at the club, helping them to the Championship title in the 2011–12 season and featuring in nine Premier League games the following campaign. He was sold to Millwall in January 2015 and though limited to 55 games in two-and-a-half seasons he did feature prominently in the 2016–17 FA Cup run that saw Millwall eliminate three top-flight teams. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. Brian McDermott (footballer)
Brian James McDermott (born 8 April 1961) is a former professional footballer and former manager of Reading. Born in Slough to Irish parents, McDermott joined Arsenal as an apprentice in 1977 and went on to play for Fulham, IFK Norrköping, Oxford United, Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City, Exeter City and Yeovil Town in a 14-year playing career during the 1980s and 1990s. At IFK Norrköping he was named Sweden's Player of the Year in 1984. He finished his playing career at Slough Town in 1995. The following season, he became manager of Slough Town where he had a very successful few years in the Conference. Following the sacking of Brendan Rodgers, McDermott was appointed manager of Reading. Brendan Rodgers
Brendan Rodgers (born 26 January 1973) is a Northern Irish professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Premier League club Leicester City. Rodgers began his career as a defender at Ballymena United, where he stayed until he was signed by Reading at the age of 18, although a genetic knee condition forced him to retire at age 20.
