Shaun Baker (musician)
Shaun Baker is an English musician, DJ and record producer, currently based in Paderborn, Germany. Musical career Baker has been playing the worldwide club scene over 20 years. Together with his friend and partner Sebastian Wolter, he also produces music. This musical partnership has over the past few years given the dance scene songs such as "Xplode 2," which hit the number 1 position in every German dance chart at the same time. Other singles are "Push" (also a dance chart & sales hit) and "Bakerman", a co-op with the cult stars Laid Back from Denmark. Laid Back were so impressed with the new version of "Bakerman" they hooked Shaun Baker and Sebastian Wolter up with Lars von Trier, who produced the video clip for the original version of "Bakerman". Laid Back
Laid Back is a Danish electronic music duo group from Copenhagen, formed in 1979. The duo consists of John Guldberg (vocals, guitar, bass) and Tim Stahl (vocals, keyboards, drums, bass). They are best known for the hits " Sunshine Reggae" and "White Horse" from 1983 and "Bakerman" from 1989. Background and origins John Guldberg and Tim Stahl met in the mid-1970s, and they played together in a group called the Starbox Band. After a poorly received show supporting the Kinks, the band split up, but the duo continued working together. Karel Svoboda (composer)
Karel Svoboda (19 December 1938 – 28 January 2007) was a Czech composer of popular music. He wrote music for many TV series in the 1970s. Career Karel Svoboda was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, and began his career as a pop composer after abandoning medicine in his third year of university. He became a member of the rock band Mefisto in 1963, where he played piano. Later, he composed music for the ''Laterna Magika'' theatre in Prague and for many Czech singers. In 1969 he wrote a song titled "Lady Carneval" for Karel Gott, a major Czech pop star. Svoboda wrote a total of 80 songs for Gott, including and " Die Biene Maja".
