''Shotru'' (, English: Enemy) is a 2023 Bangladeshi cop action thriller film directed by Sumon Dhar and written by Delower Hossein Dil. The film stars Bappy Chowdhury, Zahara Mitu and Misha Sawdagor. Sunil Ghosh Shuvo produced the film under the banner of Ahriddha Films. The film was released in Eid-ul-Fitr 2023. Bappy Chowdhury
Bappy Chowdhury (born Bappy Kumar Saha; 6 December, 1982) is a Bangladeshi actor who works in Dhallywood films. Chowdhury began his acting career with the box-office hit '' Bhalobasar Rong'' (2012). He went on to star in successful films including '' Prem Prem Paglami'', '' Tobuo Bhalobashi'' (both 2013), '' Sweetheart'' (2016), '' Apon Manush'' (2017), ''Nayok'' (2018), ''Daag Hridoye'' and ''Paglami'' (both 2019). He also played Sultan in the 2017 film '' Sultana Bibiana'', which initially underperformed but has gained public recognition over years. Asif Akbar (born 25 March 1972), commonly known as ASIF, is a Bangladeshi singer. He releases solo, duet, and mixed albums and also songs for Bangladeshi cinema. He received six Meril-Prothom Alo Award and a Bangladesh National Film Award. Background Akbar was born to Ali Akbar and Rokeya Akbar in Comilla.
