Shatin Sports Association () is a Hong Kong football (soccer), football club based in the Sha Tin District. The club currently competes in the Hong Kong First Division League, Hong Kong First Division. The club plays most of its home matches at Ma On Shan Sports Ground. History Shatin, as Hong Kong Junior Challenge Shield, 2008–09 Hong Kong Junior Shield winners, were invited to take part in the Hong Kong FA Cup 2008-09, 2008–09 HKFA Cup by the Hong Kong Football Association, HKFA. The team was drawn against Kitchee SC, Kitchee in the first round and lost the game 3–0. They once competed in the top-tier Hong Kong First Division during the 2009–10 season, but were relegated after finishing 9th out of 10 teams. Ma On Shan Sports Ground
Ma On Shan Sports Ground () is a multi-use sports ground located in Ma On Shan (town), Ma On Shan, Sha Tin, Hong Kong. It was built at a cost of HK$153 million and opened in 1999. The sports ground is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. History Ma On Shan was opened by Lau Wong-fat on 28 December 1999. During construction the completion date was seriously delayed due to contractor bankruptcy. Work was taken over by the Architectural Services Department in December 1997 who completed construction. Activities Ma On Shan Sports Ground is designed for local sports use including schools and company sports days. When the venue is not booked, it is open to the public for jogging. Kitchee Sports Club (; ; ) is a Hong Kong professional Association football, football club based in Kowloon. It was founded in 1931 and currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. Hong Kong FA Cup Junior Division () is a football competition in Hong Kong established in 2013. All lower division teams in the First Division, Second Division and the Third Division are included in the competition. Sun Hei and Central & Western are the most successful clubs, both winning 2 titles. History FA Cup preliminary round was founded by the Hong Kong Football Association in 2013, replacing the abolished Hong Kong Junior Challenge Shield. Hong Kong Third 'District' Division League was a division of the third overall tier of the Hong Kong football league system organised by the Hong Kong Football Association in Hong Kong, along with Hong Kong Third 'A' Division League. The Hong Kong First Division League () is the second-highest division in the Hong Kong football league system. Established in 1908, it is the third oldest in Asia, after Calcutta and Bombay. Moreover, it is the oldest top-flight league system in Asia. The league was formerly the highest division in Hong Kong until the formation of the Hong Kong Premier League in 2014.
