Sharon Marley
Sharon Marley (born 23 November 1964) is a Jamaican reggae singer. She is the biological daughter of Rita Marley and was adopted by Bob Marley when the two married. She was in the group Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers along with her younger half-siblings. With the group, she has won three Grammy Awards. Her daughter Donisha Prendergast is a filmmaker and activist. Career 1980–1999: Early life and The Melody Makers The Melody Makers was formed at the request of their father, Bob Marley, but only after his death did the band come into their own. Their vision, however, was similar to their father's desire to bring people together through music. The band is composed of four of Bob Marley's eleven children, vocalist/guitarist Ziggy, vocalist/guitarist/drummer Stephen, vocalist Cedella, and vocalist Sharon. Peter Prendergast (born September 23, 1963) is a Jamaican football referee. A FIFA referee since January 1, 1994, his first international match was USA against Ireland, on June 9, 1996. Since then he has refereed many matches in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the Olympics, the FIFA World Cup and the Confederations Cup. Prendergast also refereed Costa Rica - United States (2-1) in the qualification stages for the same World Cup. ''The Mighty Quinn'' is a 1989 American mystery comedy thriller film starring Denzel Washington in the title role, alongside Robert Townsend, James Fox, Mimi Rogers, M.
