Shapit
''Shapit'' is a Marathi-language film was released on 30 December 1982. It is produced by Madhukar Rupji, Sudha Chitale, Vinay Newalkar under the banner of Troyka Films Combine and directed by Rajdutt & Arvind Deshpande. The film won President's silver medal for Best Feature Film in Marathi at the National Film Awards. Plot Shapit is a movie that talks about how some people have lots of money and power while others don't have much at all. It shows how the rich often treat the poor and people from lower castes unfairly, making their lives harder. In the movie, we see how these differences in social status and money affect everyday life. It's a reminder that the world isn't always fair, and some people have more opportunities just because they were born into wealth or a higher caste. Rajdutt
Dattatray Ambadas Mayalu (1932), popularly known as Rajdutt, is an Indian director and producer in the Marathi and Hindi film industries. He directed his first film ''Madhuchandra'' in 1967. He is a recipient of three National Film Awards, three Filmfare Award Marathi, twelve Maharashtra State Film Awards, V. Shantaram Award and Zee Gaurav Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution in Marathi cinema. In 2024, the Government of India, honoured him with Padma Bhushan, India's third highest civilian honour for his contributions to Indian culture through performing arts. Early life Rajdutt was born in Dhamangaon, Wardha district studied commerce before working for the Nagpur daily ''Tarun Bharat'' as a subeditor and theatre reviewer. Filmfare Awards Marathi
The Filmfare Marathi Awards are presented annually to both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Marathi cinema, Marathi film industry of India. The ceremony had been sponsored by various private organisations in the past as well as in present provisions. During several years in 1990s, a live ceremony was broadcast to television audiences but was later discontinued for unknown reasons. Madhu Kambikar
Madhu Kambikar is an Indian performing folk art artist, theatre actor and film and TV personality, from Maharashtra. Kambikar went onto establish herself as one of the leading actress of the 80s. In a career spanning over four decades, she has worked in over 75 films and has received several accolades including a Filmfare Marathi Award and six Maharashtra State Film Awards. Personal life She was born in Malegaon, a village in Beed district, 28 July 1953 in the Kolhati community. The Maharashtra State Film Award for Best Film is an award presented annually at the Maharashtra State Film Awards of India to the best film in Marathi cinema. The awards are managed directly by the Maharashtra Government under the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Government of Maharashtra.
