Shapeshifter
In mythology, folklore and speculative fiction, shape-shifting is the ability to physically transform oneself through an inherently superhuman ability, divine intervention, demonic manipulation, sorcery, spells or having inherited the ability. The idea of shape-shifting is in the oldest forms of totemism and shamanism, as well as the oldest existent literature and epic poems such as the ''Epic of Gilgamesh'' and the ''Iliad''. The concept remains a common literary device in modern fantasy, children's literature and popular culture. Folklore and mythology Popular shape-shifting creatures in folklore are werewolves and vampires (mostly of European, Canadian, and Native American/early American origin), ichchadhari naag and ichchadhari naagin (shape-shifting cobras) of India, the huli jing of East Asia (including the Japanese ''kitsune'' and Korean '' kumiho''), and the gods, goddesses, and demons and demonesses like succubus and incubus and other numerous mytholog ...

Shape Shifter (album)
''Shape Shifter'' is the twenty-second studio album (thirty-sixth album overall) by Santana. It was released on May 14, 2012. This album is the first from his new record label Starfaith Records, which is distributed by Sony Music Entertainment, owners of all of Santana's albums (except those recorded for Polydor Records which are owned by Universal Music Group). It is also the first album since 1992's ''Milagro'' that does not feature guest singers in any of the songs, a style that characterized Santana's albums since ''Supernatural''. The album contains only one song with vocals ("Eres La Luz"). The track "Mr. Szabo" is a homage to the Hungarian guitarist Gábor Szabó, one of Carlos Santana's early idols, who released a series of 8 albums for Impulse Records between 1966 and 1967; the track features a similar rhythmical and harmonic structure to "Gypsy Queen", a Szabó recording from 1966 covered by Santana in 1970 as a medley with Fleetwood Mac's " Black Magic Woman". Track ...

Greyview
''Greyview'' is the third studio album by American metalcore band Invent Animate. The album was released on March 13, 2020, through Tragic Hero Records and was produced by Randy LeBoeuf. It is the band's last release to be published on this label before the band signed to UNFD in 2021. Critical reception ''KillYourStereo'' gave the album 4 out of 5 and said: "''Greyview'' is a wonderful, sometimes remarkable comeback for Invent Animate, often featuring some of the American band's best work. Track after track, this new album punishes the listener with the crushing, heavyweight of sorrow and depression, felt in both the gut-wrenching lyrical wordplay and the moody prog-metalcore instrumentals. While it may not be the band's most cohesive sounding effort, (like their 2016 album, '' Stillworld''), it nonetheless makes for a new monument in the discography of Invent Animate, cementing its place as an air-tight and very enjoyable, if not occasionally difficult listen. While there isn't ...

Celldweller
Celldweller is an American electronic rock project by multi-musician Klayton. Celldweller songs have been featured in many films, movie trailers, television shows and video games. Career Precursors: Circle of Dust and Angeldust (1992–1999) The name Celldweller was derived from a nickname his mother gave him when he was a teenager, dubbed "Cellar Dweller", as he made all of his music in his parents' basement. Klayton had gained a devoted cult following in the mid 90s because of his industrial metal band Circle of Dust. After the dissolution of Circle of Dust, Klayton concurrently released both a posthumous collection of reworked Circle of Dust leftovers titled ''Disengage (album), Disengage'' and an album for a new project, Angeldust (industrial band), Angeldust, created in conjunction with illusionist Criss Angel. Both albums demonstrated Klayton's shift away from industrial metal and towards more electronic-modern industrial rock influences, incorporating richer electronic inst ...
