Shane Tudor
Shane Anthony Tudor (born 10 February 1982) is an English former footballer. He played as a midfielder, primarily in the right wing position. He scored 31 goals in 234 appearances throughout a ten-year career in the Football League. He began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, before moving to Cambridge United in November 2001. He played for the club in the Football League Trophy final in 2002, but severe financial difficulties caused the club to drop from the Second Division into the Conference National. He signed with Leyton Orient in May 2005, and helped the club win promotion out of League Two in 2005–06. Moving on to Port Vale in May 2007, injuries began to disrupt his career, leaving him unable to play for Shrewsbury Town despite him joining the club on loan. He retired from football in January 2009 aged just 26, after a knee injury ended his professional career. Darren Bazeley
Darren Shaun Bazeley (born 5 October 1972) is an English-New Zealand football coach and former player. He played as either a right full back or right-sided midfielder. He is currently head coach of the New Zealand U20 team and interim head coach of the national and Olympic sides. Playing career Watford Bazeley was born in Northampton, England, and began playing football at a young age with local team Northampton Orion. From 11 to 13 years old, Bazeley attended weekly training sessions with the School of Excellence – a coaching scheme run by the FA. It was through these sessions that Bazeley was scouted by Watford, trialling with them before signing at the age of 14. 2002–03 Football League
The 2002–03 Football League (known as the Nationwide Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 104th completed season of The Football League. Portsmouth won the First Division by some distance, passing manager Harry Redknapp's old club, West Ham on the way down. Leicester City earned a somewhat controversial promotion, as administration and a Creditor's Voluntary Agreement wrote off much of their debt. Partly as a result of this, the League would introduce a ten-point deduction for any teams going into administration from the next season onwards. The play-offs were won by Wolves, returning to the top flight after nearly 20 years and finally allowing owner Sir Jack Hayward to see the return he wanted on his years of investment. Daniel James Jackman (born 3 January 1983 in Worcester, Worcestershire) is an English former professional footballer, who last played for Bromsgrove Sporting. Career Early career Jackman started his career at Premier League side Aston Villa as a trainee, but never played for the first team. Abbey Stadium is a football stadium in Cambridge, England. It has been the home ground of Cambridge United F.C. since 1932, and currently has a maximum capacity of 8,127 spectators. Cambridge Regional College F.C., Cambridge United's feeder club, played their home games at The Abbey from 2006 until their dissolution in 2014. John Taylor (footballer, Born 1964)
John Taylor (born 24 October 1964) is an English former professional footballer. As a player, striker Taylor made over 500 league appearances, scoring 153 goals, the majority of which were for Cambridge United. Playing career Taylor started his career as a trainee with Colchester United in 1982 but he managed just one substitute appearance for the Essex club, in a League Cup tie. Dropping out of the league, Taylor took a job as a shipping clerk and played part-time for Sudbury Town F.C. where he was spotted by Cambridge United manager Chris Turner who paid Sudbury £1,000 for his services in the Summer of 1988.
