Shane Keegan
Shane Keegan is an Irish football manager, he has been the manager of League of Ireland First Division side Cobh Ramblers F.C. since June 2022. In November 2016, Keegan was announced as Manager of Galway United F.C. on a two-year contract, joining from Wexford Youths F.C. , where he spent five seasons in charge. His departure from Wexford came in controversial circumstances as the news broke just before the away leg of a relegation play off to Drogheda which they subsequently lost after having been 2.0 up in the first leg. Keegan's first season in charge of Galway United resulted in the club being relegated from the League of Ireland Premier Division. That same season he guided his side to the semi-final of the EA Sports Cup where they lost 3-0 to Dundalk. His side also made it to the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup but were beaten 2-1 by Limerick. Portlaoise ( ), or Port Laoise (), is the county town of County Laois, Ireland. It is located in the South Midlands in the province of Leinster. The 2021 President's Cup was the seventh President's Cup contested for. The match was played on 12 March between the champions of the 2020 League of Ireland Premier Division and 2020 FAI Cup, Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk. The match finished 1–1 after 90 minutes and was decided by a penalty shootout which Dundalk won 4–3 with Albanian goalkeeper Alessio Abibi saving Roberto Lopes penalty to win the game for Dundalk on his competitive debut. Filippo Giovagnoli (born 1 December 1970) is an Italian professional football coach and former player who was most recently a coach of League of Ireland Premier Division club Dundalk. Early life Giovagnoli was born in Città di Castello but grew up in the small town of Apecchio. Playing career Giovagnoli played professionally as a centre-back in his native Italy between 1987 and 2003, appearing for Sansepolcro and Arezzo in Serie D, and most notably in Serie C for Rondinella Firenze where he partnered future World Cup winner Andrea Barzagli in central defence.
