Shan (surname)
Shan () is a Chinese surname. The origin of this surname is not clear. One explanation is that it came from Shan County in Shandong province. Another possible origin involves King Cheng of Zhou's youngest son's acquisition of the name when he was given what would become the Shan state when the enfeoffment system was enacted during the Zhou dynasty. The Shan state existed for a few hundred years before it was annexed by a stronger neighbouring state. It was located in present-day Jiyuan, Henan province. Although the surname comes from the place name, the Shan family was a branch of the royal family of the Zhou dynasty. Its ancient origin determines its rareness and not many people have the Shan surname. According to one unverifiable estimate, about 150,000 people are of the surname. Dongyang () is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jinhua in Central Zhejiang Province, China. It covers an area of and administers eleven towns, one township, and six subdistricts. Jinhua
Jinhua is a prefecture-level city in central Zhejiang province in eastern China. It borders the provincial capital of Hangzhou to the northwest, Quzhou to the southwest, Lishui to the south, Taizhou, Zhejiang, Taizhou to the east, and Shaoxing to the northeast. Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; later influences came from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the campus folk song folk movement of the 1970s. The fifth season of the Chinese Reality television, reality talent show ''Sing! China'' premiered on 21 August 2020, on Zhejiang Television. Li Ronghao was the only coach returning from the previous season. Meanwhile, Li Jian (singer), Li Jian and Nicholas Tse also returned after their one-season hiatus, replacing Harlem Yu and Wang Leehom. Li Yuchun joined the coaching panel as a new coach, replacing Na Ying. On 21 November 2020, Shan Yichun was announced the winner of the season, making her youngest winner. In addition, with Li Jian's second win, he became the first coach to win multiple seasons. Zebra Forest from Team Li Ronghao was the runner-up. Hence, this is the first time in the history of Sing!
