Shamirpet is a major revenue village panchayat, and also a suburb of Hyderabad city and district headquarters of Medchal-Malkajgiri district of the Indian state of Telangana. Jawahar Deer Park, also Shamirpet Deer Park, is a deer park located in Shamirpet, Medchal–Malkajgiri district, Telangana, India. The Park is spread over 54 acres and has over 100 deer. The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was established in 1964 for the study of issues and policies relating to public enterprise (PEs).
