The Netherlands selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 entry through ''Junior Songfestival 2015'', a national selection consisting of eight songs. The competing songs broke down into two semi-finals, each consisting of four songs, and a final consisting of the top two placing songs from each semi-final and a special wildcard that was originally eliminated. The eight finalists were revealed on 2 April 2015. The final was held on 3 October 2015, while the two semi-finals were on 19 and 26 September. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 was the thirteenth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place, for the first time, in Bulgaria. (; ) is a Dutch televised music competition for children, held annually since 2003. It is the children's version of the . The winner of the contest goes on to represent the Netherlands in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest (), an international version of the competition. Eric Job van Tijn (born 2 November 1956, in Amsterdam) is a Dutch music producer and judge on the Dutch versions of the music competitions '' Idols'' and ''X Factor''. He comes from a musical family. His parents Eli and Lena van Tijn founded ''Artisound'' the year he was born and he grew up around the studio. In his youth, and during school years, he played in various bands. He also studied composition, arrangement and playing the piano in the conservatory. His initial musical work was producing Patricia Paay.
