Shaky Beats Music Festival
The Shaky Beats Music Festival was an annual music festival that took place in Central Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The festival was inaugurated in 2016 and featured largely EDM acts such as Odesza, Major Lazer, Big Gigantic, Porter Robinson, and Carnage. On October 15, 2019, the organizers of the festival announced on their Facebook page that the festival will not be returning in 2020, and will be retired effective immediately. The festival's first iteration hosted a total of 33,000 people. The second Shaky Beats Music Festival ran from May 5–7, 2017 at Centennial Olympic Park and featured acts like The Chainsmokers, Kaskade, and GRiZ. Shaky Knees Music Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Atlanta, Georgia. The festival was founded in 2013 by Tim Sweetwood in order to bring a proper indie music festival to the city of Atlanta, which already hosts festivals such as Sweetwater 420 Fest and Music Midtown. The festival is currently held in Central Park (Atlanta) in Old Fourth Ward. Shaky Knees began as a two-day festival and has since expanded to include a third day. The festival features both artists from around the globe and smaller regional acts. Daystar Shemuel Shua Peterson (born July 27, 1992), known professionally as Tory Lanez, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and record producer. Strfkr (a disemvowelment, as well as the letter C, of "Starfucker"), stylized in all caps, is an American indie rock band from Portland, Oregon. It began in 2007 as a solo project of Joshua Hodges. History Members include Joshua Hodges of Sexton Blake (band), Sexton Blake (vocals, keyboards, guitar, drums), Shawn Glassford (bass, keyboards, drums), Keil Corcoran (drums, keyboards, vocals), and Arian Jalali (guitar, keyboards). Seth Haley, known by his stage name Com Truise, is an American electronic musician and DJ. His stage name is a spoonerism of the name of American actor Tom Cruise. Biography Prior to 2010, Haley had released music under the pseudonyms Sarin Sunday, SYSTM, and Airliner. In 2010, the first Com Truise recording, the ''Cyanide Sisters'' EP, was released. Initially, the EP was a free download from the AMDISCS record label. Ghostly International digitally reissued it in January 2011. Haley resigned from his job as art director prior to this release.
