Shakhe Goli Baraye Aroos
The Shakhe (; Adyghe: ), also known as the Golovinka () is a river in Khostinsky and Lazarevsky City Districts of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai in Russia. It flows down the slopes of the Western Caucasus to the Black Sea. It is long, and the area of its basin . Its main tributary is the Bzych (left). The Shakhe is the second longest river of Sochi, next to the Mzymta. Almost the whole course of the Shakhe, with the exception of the proximity to the sea, lies within Sochi National Park. The source of the river is in the mountains northwest of Krasnaya Polyana. The Shakhe flows northwest in a narrow valley, the first settlement downstream is Babuk-Aul where the river turns west. Downstream of Babuk-Aul it accepts the Azhu from the right and turns south. In the village of Bzogu it accepts the Bzych from the left and turns west. Khostinsky city district () is one of four city districts of the types of inhabited localities in Russia, city of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The city district borders Maykopsky District of the Republic of Adygea in the northeast, Adlersky city district in the southeast, Tsentralny city district, Sochi, Tsentralny city district in the west, and Lazarevsky city district in the northwest. Caucasus Zapovednik
Caucasus Nature Reserve is a Russian ''zapovednik'' (strict ecological reserve) covering a heavily mountainous section of the Northwest Caucasus Mountains. It is the largest and oldest in the territory of specially protected natural area in the Caucasus, having been created in 1924 as the Caucasian Bison Reserve. In 1979, the site was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and in 1999 included in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2008 it was officially renamed after Khachatur (Christopher) G. Sochi River
The Sochi () is a river in the city of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is long, and the area of its basin . Originating at Bolshaya Shura Mountain in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, it flows southwest and enters the Black Sea at Sochi, itself named for the river and site of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. It is the third longest river in Sochi after the Mzymta and the Shakhe.
