Shakey's V-League 12th Season Collegiate Conference
The Shakey's V-League 12th Season Collegiate Conference was the 23rd conference of Shakey's V-League. The opening ceremony was held on July 11, 2015 with the first triple header of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan, Metro Manila. There were twelve (12) competing teams for this conference. Tournament Format Preliminaries (PL) * Twelve (12) participating teams will be divided into two (2) PL groups - Group A & Group B. * Each pool will play a single round robin. * The TOP 4 TEAMS PER POOL (or a total of eight (8) teams) will advance to the Quarterfinal Round. * The bottom two (2) per group will be eliminated from the tournament. Quarterfinals (QF) * The eight (8) quarter finalists will be regrouped into one pool. * The top four (4) teams after a single round robin will advance to the semi-finals round. Ateneo Lady Eagles
The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines. The collegiate women's varsity basketball team is called the ''Lady Eagles''. The Ateneo collegiate men's varsity basketball team was not always called the Blue Eagles. It got the name Blue Eagles when Ateneo adopted the ''Eagle'' as its mascot in 1938. Prior to that, from 1914 it was known under different names. Benilde Blazers
The College of Saint Benilde Blazers are the NCAA senior varsity team of De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde. The Blazers were formerly a member National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) before they applied and were admitted to the NCAA in 1998. Ennajie Cruz Laure (born July 31, 1997), better known as EJ Laure, is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a member and a former team captain of the UST Golden Tigresses volleyball team, and a former Philippine national team member. Career High school Laure led the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Girls Volleyball Team to its last championship in Season 76 of UAAP Juniors Volleyball. Carmela Tunay
Maria Carmela "Mela" Tunay is Filipina volleyball former player, actress, and TV host. She played for the UST Lady Tigresses in the UAAP and the Cignal HD Spikers in the PSL until 2016. She, then transferred and played for the Petron Blaze Spikers from 2017 to 2019. Personal life Carmela Tunay, born in Mandaluyong and lives in Makati, attended St Paul College in Makati. Grethcel Soltones (sometimes mistakenly named as Gretchel Soltones) (born September 9, 1995) is a Filipina volleyball player for the Petro Gazz Angels in the Premier Volleyball League. Risa Sato
is a Filipino-Japanese volleyball player who is currently living in the Philippines and playing in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines for the NU Lady Bulldogs and in the Premier Volleyball League for the Creamline Cool Smashers. Early life Risa Sato was born on October 4, 1994 in Osaka, Japan where she also spent her childhood. Her mother is Filipino while her father is Japanese. Sato played volleyball at school in Japan. Alyssa Caymo Valdez (; born June 29, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball.
