Shaiju Mon
Shaiju Mon (born 16 May 1991) is an Indian professional football player who plays for Mohan Bagan in the I-League. Early career Mon was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Being the first footballer in his family, he got selected in his school team (MEC, Hosur) when he was studying in Class 8. Later, when he was in the 12th Standard, he played for the coastal team of his home town. After seeing his performance in his college team, he got chance to play for a 2nd Division team of Kerala, SKVC in the year 2008. While playing for Chandni FC in the 2009–10 season, he represented that club in the 2010 I-League 2nd Division. He scored a goal against Eagles F.C., with the match ending in a 1–1 draw. 2012 Durand Cup
The 2012 Durand Cup was the 125th season of the Durand Cup, the third oldest football tournament in the world, which is a knock-out competition held in India. Churchill Brothers were the current holders, having beaten Prayag United in the 2011 Final. The tournament was held from 16 August to 1 September with all matches at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi. Air India won the 2012 Durand Cup in the final after beating Dodsal 3–2 on penalties after the match ended 0–0 after 120 minutes. The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. 2013 AFC U-22 Asian Cup
The 2013 AFC U-22 Championship (also known as the 2013 AFC U-22 Asian Cup) was the first edition of the AFC U-22 Championship. The hosting rights for the tournament was awarded to Oman. It was set to take place between 23 June and 7 July 2013 but was postponed to be held between 11 and 26 January 2014 due to the 2013 EAFF East Asian Cup. Host selection The AFC Competitions Committee awarded the hosting rights of the 2013 finals to Oman on 18 July 2012. Oman and Thailand were the only nations that came forward wanting to host. The Lebanon national under-23 football team (), also known as the Lebanon Olympic football team (), represents Lebanon in international football competitions in the Olympic Games, the Asian Games, and the AFC U-23 Asian Cup, as well as any other under-23 international football tournament. The team also serves as the national under-22 football team of Lebanon. Zakeer Mundampara is an Indian footballer who last played as a Central Forward for All India Sevens Football club Town Team Areacode. Early life Zakeer started taking football seriously at the age of 15. He played for Spandanam, Areekode and Areekode Town Team during his early days as a footballer. He then joined Orient High School for studies where he continued playing football. From there he went to Moorkanad Higher Secondary School and then to MES College, Mampad. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium locally known as Polo Ground is a football stadium in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. It is used mainly for football and has most notably hosted the home matches of Shillong Lajong FC in the I-League. The stadium has a seating capacity of 30,000 spectators.
