Shaigal District
Shegal District () was split from Chapa Dara District in Kunar Province, Afghanistan and the population is 13,351 (2019). Waheedullah Sabawoon and late Kashmir Khan, two of the famous politicians of Afghanistan, belonging to this district. Wall nut, Malt, date plum and plum are the famous fruits while, rice, wheat, sugarcane, corns and cotton are the main crops cultivated in the district. The Kunar river is separating Shugal from Shultan while both areas are connected by Shultan bridge. Since last couple of years, the Shultan separated and has become a district. It has a long border with neighbor Pakistan. Villages in Shegal district include Dag-e-Ser, Shangurgul, Lachay, Monay, Helalzo, Naret, Chaqore, and more. Chapa Dara District
Chapa Dara District () is situated in the western part of Kunar Province in eastern Afghanistan. It has a population of around 100,000 residents as of 2023. The majority are ethnic Pashtuns. There may also be some Pashai. The district consists of a mountainous terrain. The capital of the district is Chapa Dara. Chapa Dara District borders Nuristan Province to the north and northwest, Laghman Province to the southwest, and the Pech and Nurgal districts of Kunar Province to the east and south respectively. In the Digal valley region, remnants of the Indo-Aryan Nangalami (Grangali) language is still spoken in two villages. Kunar Province
Kunar (Pashto: ; Dari: ) is one of the 34 provinces of Afghanistan, located in the northeastern part of the country. Its capital is Asadabad. Its population is estimated to be 508,224. Kunar's major political groups include Wahhabis or Ahl-e- Hadith, ''Nazhat-e Hambastagi Milli, Hezb-e Afghanistan Naween, Hezb-e Islami Gulbuddin''. It is one of the four " N2KL" provinces (Nangarhar Province, Nuristan Province, Kunar Province and Laghman Province). Shinwari
The Shinwari () are an ethnic Pashtun tribe of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Among the greatest poets of the Pashto language in the 20th century was the late Ameer Hamza Shinwari, also known as "Hamza Baba". The Shinwari tribe are descended from the Kasi Pashtun tribe settled in the southern districts of Nangarhar Province, in Haska Meyna, Achin, Rodat, Bati Kot, Kot, Chaprahar, Shinwar, Dor Baba and Nazian districts. A major portion of the tribe is centered in Jalalabad and Parwan province of Afghanistan, and Khyber Pass, Pakistan. These Shinwaris are mostly traders and businessmen. There are more than 3,000 Shinwaris settled in the Alizai village, 15 km away from Kohat, Pakistan. Mirdad Khel, a sub-tribe of the Shinwaris, migrated to Swat Valley during the 1750s and settled there. Among them one of the notable Shinwaris is Senator Abdul Rahim Mirdad Khel.
