Shahriyar (also spelled Shahryar) was a Sasanian prince—he was the son of Khosrow II (r. 590-628) and his Christian queen Shirin. Shahriar Shafiq
Shahriar Shafiq ( fa, شهریار شفیق ; 15 March 1945 – 7 December 1979) was an Iranian Imperial Navy Captain and a member of the House of Pahlavi. He was the son of Shahdokht (equivalent to English term Princess) Ashraf Pahlavi, twin sister of the Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. His military career lasted from 1963 until the Iranian Revolution in 1979. He stayed until March 1979 when he had to escape Iran after months of fighting the revolutionaries. Shahriar Shafiq resided in Paris until 7 December 1979, when he was assassinated by agents of the Islamic Republic. Early life and education Shafiq was born in Cairo on 15 March 1945. Mohammad Al-Sahariar (born April 23, 1978), also known as Al-Sahariar Rokon and Al Sahariar, is a Bangladeshi Test and one-day cricketer. Al Sahariar scored Bangladesh's first first-class century, in their third match in the New Zealand Shell Conference in 1997–98. He was one of the original eleven Bangladeshi Test cricketers, playing in Bangladesh's inaugural Test against India in November 2000. He played 15 Tests, but patchy form led to his exclusion from the team to tour the West Indies in 2003; he played no further Tests or One-day internationals. Shahriar Nafees Ahmed ( bn, শাহরিয়ার নাফীস আহমেদ; born: 1 May 1985) is a former Bangladeshi cricketer, who played all formats of the game, and was also a former T20I captain for Bangladesh.He made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Bangladesh in 2005 against England, and later the same year played his first Test. In 2008 he joined the Indian Cricket League (ICL) as part of the Dhaka Warriors. Salef-ud-din Muhammad Shahryar (6 January 1605 – 23 January 1628), better known as Shahryar Mirza , was the fifth and youngest son of the Mughal emperor Jahangir. After Jahangir's death, Shahryar made an attempt to become emperor, supported by his one in influence and powerful stepmother Nur Jahan, who was also his mother-in-law. The succession was contested and though Shahryar exercised power, based in Lahore, from 7 November 1627 to 19 January 1628, he was defeated and was killed at the orders of his brother Khurram, better known as Shah Jahan once he took the throne.
