Shahril Jantan
Shahril Jantan (born 20 April 1980) is a Singaporean retired footballer who last played as a goalkeeper for S.League clubs with Geylang United, SAFFC and Home United. He is currently the head of foundation at Lion City Sailors. Club career Geylang United Shahril started his football career as a 16-year-old for Geylang United for the under 16 team. He eventually progressed up the ranks to the under 18 team in 1997 and Prime League team in 1998. He was also registered as a S-league player in the 1998 squad as the no. 3 goalie behind David Lee and Shahri Rahim. Shahril remained as the no. 3 in 1999 and eventually moved a notch up as the back up goalkeeper in 2000 behind the famous German goalkeeper, Lutz Pfannenstiel. Vincent Subramaniam (born 28 January 1955) is a Singaporean football coach. Educated at Victoria School, Vincent was most recently in charge of Young Lions. Lion City Sailors Football Club, commonly referred to as The Sailors or LCS, is a Singaporean professional football club competing in the Singapore Premier League, the top tier of the Singapore football league system. Since the 2021 season, the team have played their home games at Jalan Besar Stadium. Singapore Cup
The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost football cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. Chonburi Province FC from Thailand was the first foreign club reaching the final in 2006 (they lost 3–2 in the final to local club Tampines Rovers). In 2009, Bangkok Glass became the second foreign team to reach the final, losing against local club Geylang United, but they beat Tampines Rovers in 2010 to become the first foreign winners of the Singapore Cup. Noh Alam Shah
Mohd Noh Alam Shah (born 3 September 1980) is a retired professional football player from Singapore who currently manages Tanjong Pagar United. Once regarded as one of the best forwards in South East Asia, Alam Shah was a member of the Singapore national football team when it won the AFF Championship in 2005 and 2007. At club level, he was a member of the Tampines Rovers team which won Singapore's S.League in 2004 and 2005. Alam Shah is also well known for his volatile temper, which got him into trouble on a number of occasions. An incident of violent conduct when he knocked another player unconscious while playing for Tampines Rovers in the 2007 Singapore Cup final led to a 12-month ban from playing club-level football. Rezal Hassan
Rezal Hassan (born 14 February 1975) is a retired Singaporean football goalkeeper. He played for the Singapore national team in the late-1990s and early-2000s, and was part of the Singapore team which won the regional AFF Championship in 1998. He last played for SAFFC, Tampines Rovers and Woodlands Wellington in Singapore's S.League. Rezal was a member of the Tampines Rovers teams which won the S.League title in 2004 and 2005, and the Singapore Cup in 2002, 2004 and 2006. Rezal played in the Singapore national team's exhibition matches against Liverpool (2–0 defeat) and Manchester United (8–1 defeat) in 2001. Jermaine Pennant
Jermaine Lloyd Pennant (born 15 January 1983) is an English former professional footballer who played as a winger. Pennant made over 350 league appearances for 15 clubs, and scored 25 league goals. David Bentley
David Michael Bentley (born 27 August 1984) is an English former professional footballer who played primarily as a winger, but also played as a central midfielder or as a second striker. Bentley started his career with Arsenal in the Premier League, and despite being earmarked as one for the future, saw his playing opportunities limited by a strong senior squad. Matthew James Upson (born 18 April 1979) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Upson played for England at full international level including at the 2010 World Cup. Upson started his career with Bedfordshire club Luton Town before he joined Premier League club Arsenal for a fee of £2 million in May 1997.
