Shahi Kabir
Shahi Kabir (born 28 September 1978) is an Indian film director and scriptwriter for Malayalam cinema. He is the screenwriter for 'Joseph' (2018) directed by M. Padmakumar and for 'Nayattu' (2021), he won the National Film Award for Best Screenplay(Original) - 2023 at the 69th National Film Awards. He made his directorial debut with 'Ela Veezha Poonchira' for which he received the Best Debut Director Award at the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards. Early life and career Kabir was born in Alappuzha, India. He married Sabeena A on July 8, 2007, and has two children. He wrote the script for ''Joseph'' (2018), and ''Nayattu'' (2021). ''Joseph'' is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film directed by M. Padmakumar and written by Shahi Kabir. It stars Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, Irshad, Athmiya Rajan, Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa, Malavika Menon, and Madhuri Braganza. The story, an investigation thriller, develops through the life of four retired policemen.
