Shahadat Hossain Dipu (born 4 February 2002) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his Twenty20 debut on 26 November 2020, for Beximco Dhaka in the 2020–21 Bangabandhu T20 Cup. Prior to his Twenty20 debut, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In February 2021, he was selected in the Bangladesh Emerging squad for their home series against the Ireland Wolves. He made his first-class debut on 26 February 2021, for the Bangladesh Emerging team against Ireland Wolves. He made his List A debut on 14 March 2021, also for the Bangladesh Emerging team against Ireland Wolves. In March 2021, in the opening round of the 2020–21 National Cricket League, he scored his maiden century in first-class cricket, with 108 runs for Chittagong Division. Patiya
Patiya ( bn, পটিয়া) is an upazila of Chattogram District in Chattogram Division, Bangladesh. History During the British rule, a police station(thana) was established in Patiya in 1845. It was upgraded to an ''upazila'' in 1984. Chottogram Division cricket team represents the Chittagong Division, one of the seven administrative regions in Bangladesh. The team was founded in 1999 to compete in the National Cricket League (NCL) and plays first-class cricket. For the short-lived National Cricket League Twenty20 in 2010, the team adopted the name Cyclones of Chittagong (often abbreviated as CC). The Afghanistan cricket team toured Bangladesh in June and July 2023 to play one Test, three One Day International (ODI) and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed this FTP tour in their press release. Initially, Afghanistan were scheduled to play two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is in the series. However, on 11 May 2023, a Test and a T20I was dropped from the itinerary, due to scheduling problems. On 17 May 2023, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the dates and venues for the series. 2020–21 National Cricket League
The 2020–21 National Cricket League is the twenty-second edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), a first-class cricket competition that is being held in Bangladesh. The tournament started on 22 March 2021, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) using the tournament as preparation for Bangladesh's tour of Sri Lanka in April 2021. The eight teams taking part were placed into two tiers, with the tournament scheduled to end on 29 April 2021. Khulna Division are the defending champions.
