Arif Alvi
Arif-ur-Rehman Alvi () is a Pakistani politician who served as the 13th President of Pakistan, in office from 2018 to 2024. He was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from June 2013 to May 2018 and again from August to September 2018. Alvi was a dentist before entering politics in 1979, when he joined JI, but resigned later on from the party and then joined former cricketer Imran Khan's party in 1996 and is amongst the founding members of PTI. Alvi was elected to the National Assembly, from NA-250 Karachi-XII in 2013 and was re-elected in 2018 from NA-247 Karachi South-II. He was later nominated as the PTI's candidate for the presidential election. Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif (born 23 September 1951) is a Pakistani politician and businessman who has served as the 20th Prime Minister of Pakistan, prime minister of Pakistan since March 2024, having previously been in the role between April 2022 to August 2023. Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) () is an Islamist political party in Pakistan. It was founded in 1948 by leaders of All India Sunni Conference. Muhammad Abdul Aleem Siddiqi Al-Qaderi Meeruti (3 April 1892 – 22 August 1954) also known as ''Muballigh-e-Islam'' was an Islamic scholar, spiritual master, author and preacher from Pakistan who belonged to the Barelvi movement of Sunni Islam. He was a student of Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi. He was the leader of the All Malaya Muslim Missionary Society, Singapore (now known as Jamiyah Singapore). Shah Ahmad Nurani Siddiqi (1 October 1926 – 11 December 2003) was a Pakistani Islamic scholar and politician. He was the founder and first president of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) from 2002 until his death in 2003. He was served as the president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) from the 1970s until his death. The JUP was the main Barelvi political party of Pakistan until the establishment of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan in 2015. Siddiqi was a co-founder of the World Islamic Mission.
