Shah Alam City Council
Shah Alam City Council (MBSA; ) is the city council for Shah Alam City, Malaysia, north of Petaling District and east of Klang District, and an agency under the Selangor state government. MBSA is responsible for public health, sanitation, waste removal and management, town planning, environmental protection and building control, social and economic development and general maintenance functions of urban infrastructure. The MBSA main headquarters is located at Persiaran Perbandaran, Shah Alam. History When Shah Alam was developed as a township in 1963, the Shah Alam Town Board was founded under the Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor or Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS). Petaling
The Petaling District is a district located in the heart of Selangor in Malaysia. Petaling is not to be confused with the city of Petaling Jaya located in it, nor the ''mukim'' of Petaling under Subang Jaya City. The district office is located in Subang. The district of Petaling was established on 1 February 1974, the same day Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory. This district is located in the middle of the Klang Valley adjacent to the capital and thus has experienced tremendous urbanisation. The Klang District is a district in Selangor, Malaysia. It is located in the western part of Selangor.
