Shadows Chasing Ghosts
Shadows chasing Ghosts was a British post-hardcore band from Essex, England. The band was formed in 2007 with Trey Tremain, Matt Jones, Danny Coy and Danny Green and other guitarists to follow. Shadows Chasing Ghosts got signed to Small Town Records, where they produced two albums and for singles. Shadows Chasing Ghosts played some shows in Germany together with While She Sleeps at Matrix Bochum and Jugendhaus in Stuttgart. They played at Moshpit Open Air in Sweden with Enter Shikari, Young Guns (band), Young Guns, Yashin (band), Yashin and Deaf Havana and at Butserfest with Fei Comodo, Bury Tomorrow and We Are the Ocean. and again in 2012 with Feed The Rhino, Heart in Hand (band), Heart in Hand, former 'Resistour' tour support Polar and The Elijah. Essex
Essex () is a county in the East of England. Deaf Havana
Deaf Havana are an English alternative rock band from Hunstanton and King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. The band was formed in 2005 at the King's Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia. Biography Early days (2005–2008) Deaf Havana was formed when the original members met at the King's Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia. The band's roots can, however, be traced back much further with Ryan Mellor, James Veck-Gilodi and Lee Wilson all attending Smithdon High School and playing together in various local scene bands. At college, these members were joined by Tom Ogden and Sebastian Spitz. This early lineup saw Veck-Gilodi singing and Mellor taking guitar and vocal duties. The name "Deaf Havana" came from former guitarist Sebastian Spitz, however the name itself has no literal meaning. Urma Sellinger
Urma Sellinger is a post-hardcore band based in Stockholm, Sweden. History Urma Sellinger was founded in Stockholm in 2010 as In Flames inspired death metal band. After a gig with Adept, the musicians got interested in post-hardcore and changed their musical style. A few months later, Urma Sellinger started working on their debut EP entitled '' Live Laugh Love'' after they contacted British producer Matt Hyde, who worked together with Bullet for My Valentine, Gallows, Funeral for a Friend and Architects. In summer 2010, they flew to London to start recording the EP in Hyde's Bro Studio. The EP was released digital, download ( iTunes, Spotify). Eyes Set to Kill is an American post-hardcore band from Tempe, Arizona. The Rodriguez sisters, lead guitarist Alexia and bassist Anissa, along with vocalist Lindsey Vogt started the band in 2003. Lindsey Vogt departed the band in mid-2007 due to issues with management. Lindsey would go on to form a solo project known as "The Taro Sound", and eventually form the band "The Attraction." Heart in Hand were an English band from Bournemouth and Southampton, formed in 2008. Their musical style was a melodic blend of hardcore punk with heavy metal influences, described as both melodic hardcore and metalcore by reviewers. Their first release was the ''Heart in Hand'' EP in 2009, followed by 3 studio albums. Yashin (band)
Yashin were a British post-hardcore and metalcore band formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 2006. They have toured with the likes of Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Black Veil Brides & Madina Lake and have also played at Download Festival, T in the Park and Sonisphere. Post-Hardcore
Post-hardcore is a punk rock music genre that maintains the aggression and intensity of hardcore punk but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression. It was initially inspired by post-punk and noise rock. Like post-punk, the term has been applied to a broad constellation of groups. Post-hardcore began in the 1980s with bands like Hüsker Dü and Minutemen. The genre expanded in the 1980s and 1990s with releases by bands from cities that had established hardcore scenes, such as Fugazi from Washington, D.C. as well as groups such as Big Black and Jawbox that stuck closer to post-hardcore's noise rock roots.
