Shadia Abu Ghazaleh
Shadia Abu Ghazaleh (; 8 January 1949 – 28 November 1968) was a Palestinian militant. After completing her studies, she joined the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and was one of the first women to participate in the Palestinian fedayeen opposing the Israeli occupation of the West Bank. She was killed in an accident while preparing a bomb in her home in Nablus. She has been regarded as a martyr in Palestine and a terrorist in Israel. Biography Shadia Abu Ghazaleh was born on 8 January 1949, in the Palestinian city of Nablus, in the Jordanian-occupied West Bank. Leila Khaled ( ar, ليلى خالد, born April 9, 1944) is a Palestinian refugee, terrorist, and member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Khaled came to public attention for her role in the TWA Flight 840 hijacking in 1969 and one of the four simultaneous Dawson's Field hijackings the following year as part of the campaign of Black September in Jordan.
