Shabier Kirchner
Shabier Kirchner (born 1987/1988) is an Antiguan cinematographer and director based between London, New York, and the Caribbean. He won a BAFTA for his work on Steve McQueen's five-part anthology series '' Small Axe'' (2020). Early life Kirchner grew up in the Falmouth Harbour area of Antigua island. He also spent some of his childhood in Germany, the home country of his father Bert, who owns the Papa Zouk Rum Shop in St. John's. Tanya Hamilton (born in Spanish Town, Jamaica) is an American film director and producer. She came to the United States at the age of eight, and settled in Maryland with her mother. She attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts, Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and Columbia University. Hamilton's first project was a short film entitled ''The Killers'', which was released in 1997. This work won awards at the Berlin International Film Festival and New Line Cinema.
