Shaanxi SX250
The SX2150 is a 5-ton class 6x6 special heavy duty truck. The vehicle will be phased out by the K variant or the SX2190 truck. Development The SX-250, the predecessor of the SX2150, was developed and built by Shaanxi Automobile Works as a cross country vehicle in the 1960s and loosely based on the Soviet Ural-375 and the cab/cargo-bed designs of the French Berliet GBU 15. Shaanxi (alternatively Shensi, see § Name) is a landlocked province of China. Ural-375
The Ural-375 is a general purpose 4.5 ton 6×6 truck, which has been produced at the Ural Automotive Plant in the Russian SFSR since 1961. The Ural-375 replaced the ZIL-157 as the standard Soviet Army truck in 1979. It was itself replaced by the Ural-4320. The Ural-375 was used, for example, as a platform for the BM-21 Grad rocket launcher, as a troop carrier, and as a supply carrier. Berliet
Berliet was a French manufacturer of automobiles, buses, trucks and military vehicles among other vehicles based in Vénissieux, outside of Lyon, France. Founded in 1899, and apart from a five-year period from 1944 to 1949 when it was put into 'administration sequestre' it was in private ownership until 1967 when it then became part of Citroën, and subsequently acquired by Renault in 1974 and merged with Saviem into a new Renault Trucks company in 1978.
