Sentinel-2
Sentinel-2 is an Earth observation mission from the Copernicus Programme that acquires optical imagery at high spatial resolution (10 m to 60 m) over land and coastal waters. The mission's Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B satellites were joined in orbit in 2024 by a third, Sentinel-2C, and in the future by Sentinel-2D, eventually replacing the A and B satellites, respectively. The mission supports services and applications such as agricultural monitoring, emergencies management, land cover classification, and water quality. Bura (; ) is a salt lake in Sharbakty District, Pavlodar Region, Kazakhstan, with a small part in Kulundinsky District, Altai Krai, Russia. Lake Bura is located at the Russia-Kazakhstan border, to the east of Syntas village and approximately northwest of Kulunda village in Russia. Sharbakty, the Kazakh district capital, lies roughly to the southwest. Geography Bura lies in a tectonic depression of the Kulunda Plain. The Kazakhstan–Russia border runs diagonally off the shore across the northeastern end. Most of the lake is within Kazakhstan, but a broad segment of lake Bura lies within Russian territory. Kulunda Steppe
The Kulunda Steppe or Kulunda Plain (, , ''Qūlyndy dalasy'') is an alluvial plain in Russia and Kazakhstan. It is an important agricultural region in Western Siberia. Geography The steppe is located between the Ob River, Ob and Irtysh rivers in the southern part of the West Siberian Plain, to the west of the Ob Plateau.
