Seven Years – Ten Weeks
''Seven Years – Ten Weeks'' is the debut and only studio album released by former ''Fame Academy'' winner David Sneddon. Released on 28 April 2003, the album was recorded on the back of the success of Sneddon's winner's single, the self-penned "Stop Living the Lie", which peaked at #1 on the UK Singles Chart, and went on to become the eighteenth highest-selling single of the year. The album's second single, " Don't Let Go", was released a week prior to the album on 21 April. The album peaked at #5 on the UK Albums Chart, before falling to #18 the following week. Two further singles were released; "Best of Order", on 11 August 2003, and "Baby Get Higher", the lead single from a planned re-release of the album, which failed to materialise after the single's lacklustre chart performance, only peaking at #39. Mark Daniel Read (born in Worcester Park, London on 7 November 1978) is an English singer/songwriter, best known as member of the boy band A1 from 1998 to 2002, and 2009 to the present. Background Read grew up in a very musical family; his father Keith was in The Wild Angels, a rock 'n' roll band. His mother, Pam, played piano and drums as well as being a singer/songwriter. Goodnight Girl
"Goodnight Girl" is the third single from Scottish band Wet Wet Wet's fourth studio album, '' High on the Happy Side'' (1992). It was released on 23 December 1991 and was the second of the band's three UK number-one singles (the first being a cover of the Beatles' "With a Little Help from My Friends"), but the only one to be self-penned. Writer Graeme Clark was inspired to write the song for his then girlfriend, but has never publicly named her. A string-laden ballad, "Goodnight Girl" spent four weeks at number one in the UK Singles Chart in January 1992. Gareth Gates
Gareth Paul Gates (born 12 July 1984) is an English singer-songwriter and actor. He was the runner-up in the first series of the ITV talent show '' Pop Idol'' in 2002. As of 2008, Gates had sold over 3.5 million records in the UK. He is also known for having a stutter, and has talked about his speech impediment publicly.
