''Sevcec'' was a Spanish-language talk show, hosted by journalist Pedro Sevcec and broadcast by Telemundo from 1994 until 1999. It aired weekdays at 4:00 p.m. from 1994 through 1998 and at 2:00 p.m from 1998-1999 Eastern Time. Broadcast history The show was created in 1994 by Telemundo's then-president Joaquin Blaya, who also helped create the ''Cristina'' show during his years as president of rival network Univision. Pedro Sevcec, who at the time was a co-anchor and reporter for ''Ocurrió Así'', was selected to host and the show was titled ''Sevcec'' after his last name. Pedro Ricardo Sevcec (born July 14, 1954) is a Uruguayan television personality and journalist best known as the former anchor of '' Noticiero Telemundo'' in the United States, from 2000 to 2009. Sevcec previously served as reporter for '' Ocurrio Asi'' before hosting his own talk show on the network. He currently hosts ''Sevcec'' on MegaTV since 2021 and has his own afternoon drive radio show on WSUA Miami- Radio Caracol 1260 AM called ''La Ventana con Pedro Sevcec''. ''Ocurrió así'' (Spanish: ''It Happened Like So'') is Spanish-language network Telemundo's first original investigative news magazine that launched on October 8, 1990, to April 26, 2002. The show was originally hosted by Enrique Gratas from 1990 until he left the network in 1999. Pedro Sevcec, a previous reporter for the show, returned as a temporary host that year. The show was later re-launched in 2000 with Ana Patricia Candiani hosting. Candela Ferro joined the program in 2001, and both remained until its cancellation in 2002, when it was replaced by '' Al Rojo Vivo''.
