Moscow Metro Station
There are 250 active stations of the Moscow Metro. Of these, 209 on Moscow Metro proper, and some additional ones that are marketed by Moscow Metro: 6 stations of Moscow Monorail and 31 stations of the Moscow Central Circle. Two stations have been closed. As of 2017 several new stations are under construction or being planned. One station is reserved for future service ( Delovoy Tsentr for the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line). Zyuzino District (russian: райо́н Зю́зино) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twelve in South-Western Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia.Law #13-47 As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 123,003. Geography The area of the district is 545.04 ha. The area of the housing stock is 2132.3 thousand m² (2010). From the south, the district borders on the Bitsevsky Forest Park, and in the north, the Kotlovka River flows. The streets of the district are named after the cities of the Crimea and the Black Sea, as well as the Moscow metro stations located in the Zyuzino area - Nakhimovsky Prospekt, Sevastopolskaya, Kakhovskaya. Kakhovskaya (Moscow Metro)
Kakhovskaya (russian: Каховская) is a station of the Moscow Metro's Bolshaya Koltsevaya line. It was temporarily closed for reconstruction on 30 March 2019. It was opened on 11 August 1969 as the southern terminus of the Zamoskvoretskaya line, and from 1983 until 1995 was the terminus of the Kahovskaya branch of this line. Since the detachment of the future Bolshaya Koltsevaya line in 30 March 2019, the station will be have been its western terminus. History The station was designed by architects Nikolay Demchinsky and Yuliya Kolesnikova. The station's design is that of a standard 1960s Moscow pillar-trispan "sorokonozhka" (centipede) with two rows of 40 concrete octagonal pillars faced with brown marble. Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line
The Bolshaya Koltsevaya line (russian: Большая кольцевая линия), known in English as the Big Circle Line, designated Line 11 and 11A is an under construction rapid transit line of the Moscow Metro. When complete, it will become the third circle line on the system, running outside of the existing circle Koltsevaya line and interlocking with Moscow Central Circle, with a temporary branch to Delovoy Tsentr station in Moscow International Business Center.
