Seto Bagh
''Seto Bagh'' (, translation: White Tiger) is a 2015 Nepali historical film directed by Neer Shah. The cast includes BS Rana, Rajaram Poudel, Rabi Giri, Shyam Rai and Anjana Kattel. This movie is based on a historical novel of the same name written by one of the prominent Nepalese novelists Diamond Shumsher Rana. Seto Bagh is set during the last days of Jung Bahadur Rana following his death and then the start of conspiracies within the Rana family with the motive of accessing the power to rule.It shows the history of the country and how they fought so bravely. Neer Bikram Shah, also known as Nir Shah, is a Nepalese film actor, director, producer, poet, songwriter, and businessman. He is considered one of the leading actors in Nepali cinema history and an actor with multiple identities. He is related to the royal family of Nepal. Film career Neer Shah is the producer or co-producer of many Nepali movies. He has also directed several Nepali movies produced by himself, including '' Basudev'', ''Pachchis Basanta'', ''Basanti'', and a Nepal Bhasa movie Rajamati. Diamond Shumsher Rana (5 July 1918 – 11 March 2011) was a Nepali writer and political activist known for his acclaimed novels ''Basanti'' and ''Seto Bagh''. Life and career He was born at Tansen Durbar in Palpa, where his grandfather, Sher Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana, was governor. Jung Bahadur Rana
Jung Bahadur Rana, , was born Bir Narsingh Kunwar (1817-1877). His mother, Ganesh Kumari, was the daughter of Kaji Nain Singh Thapa, the brother of Mukhtiyar Bhimsen Thapa from the prominent Thapa dynasty. During his lifetime, Jung Bahadur eliminated factional fighting at court, removed his family's rivals such as the '' Pandes'' and '' Basnyats'', introduced innovations in the bureaucracy and judiciary, and made efforts to modernize Nepal.
