Setiawangsa–Pantai Expressway (SPE) is a expressway in Klang Valley, Malaysia that connects Taman Melati and Klang Gates Dam, Klang Gates from Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 to - Kerinchi Link and Federal Highway (Malaysia), Federal Highway at Kerinchi near Pantai Dalam, Pantai and University of Malaya. The alignment of this highway will traverse north to south of Kuala Lumpur and will serve areas such as Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management & Technology, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, Wangsa Maju, Setiawangsa, Ampang, the Tun Razak Exchange and Bandar Malaysia development corridor as well as providing a connection to Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway, Kuala Lumpur-Karak Experessay to the east coast. Genting Klang–Pahang Highway
The Genting Klang–Pahang Highway or officially Jalan Genting Klang and Jalan Pahang, as it is locally known (Federal Route 2), is a major highway in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Genting Klang–Pahang Highway connects a number of urban and residential areas like Titiwangsa, Sentul, Setapak, Taman P.Ramlee Wangsa Maju, Taman Bunga Raya, Taman Melati, Taman Permata, Hulu Kelang, Taman Melawati and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman to the city. A tollhouse or toll house is a building with accommodation for a toll collector, beside a tollgate on a toll road, canal, or toll bridge. History Many tollhouses were built by turnpike trusts in England, Wales and Scotland during the 18th and early 19th centuries. Those built in the early 19th century often had a distinctive bay front to give the pikeman a clear view of the road and to provide a display area for the tollboard. In 1840, according to the Turnpike Returns in Parliamentary Papers, there were over 5,000 tollhouses operating in England. These were sold off in the 1880s when the turnpikes were closed. The Malaysia Book of Records (or MBR) is a Malaysian project to publish records set or broken by Malaysians. The project complements Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Bin Mohamad's ' Malaysia Boleh!' Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway
The Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway is a interstate controlled-access highway in Peninsular Malaysia. It runs between the town of Gombak in Selangor to the southwest and Karak in Pahang to the northeast. The expressway was previously a single-carriageway trunk road forming part of federal route 2; this designation is kept after the upgrade in 1997. Pantai Dalam is a residential area located south-west of Kuala Lumpur, under the parliamentary constituency of Lembah Pantai. Represented in Dewan Rakyat by Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Fahmi Fadzil. The name Pantai Dalam derived from Kampung Pam Thai Dalam which was initially known for the sewerage treatment plant located at the heart of Pantai. Demographics Most of the areas residents are blue-collar workers living in flats that had been sold to them under the People's Housing Project when they were resettled from their squatter homes; students of the University of Malaya; and police officers and related personnel, mainly in Desa Aman 1 & 2.
